My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just beautiful, this Girl is Lilly a gorgeous little Pit Mix girl. Lilly is 16 months old, and has the most lovable personality. Lily weighs in at 55lb
Lilly`S story >>>> At 6 months old Lilly found herself in a Florida high kill shelter her chances were slim she was suffering Demodex Mange. medical needs dogs are always the first to be euthanized . Lilly was on the urgent list. The shelters were full and space was needed, so this gorgeous girl found herself fighting for her life.
Lifeline pulled this adorable girl and brought her into foster home for evaluation, and vet treatment we are pleased with the outcome, Lilly is a happy girl her foster mom calls her love bug. Lily plays with the other dogs and a cat but her fosters female does have issues with her both are alpha so Lily needs a home as an only dog or a nice calm male she loves to play with her male buddy. Lily has so much energy she loves to run, play, fetch and swim and adores anything energetic and if is there a chance to run and play Lily will be there.
We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for Lily. A home that will give her stability and security she needs Lily has just blossomed in the time she has been with us she is certainly a favorite. This girl is so lovable she deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she needs.Lily will warm to you and just melt your heart. She loves to be around humans and will follow you around, she loves to go for walks but does pull a little on the leash her excitement gets the better of her so she will need a strong hand. She knows commands sit & down and we are working on others , She will also talk for treats, she is energetic, fun and playful. she loves car rides and she is excellent in the car. Lily is house and crate trained however if left in the crate too long she will drool and get stressed. Lily has a routine with her foster and is taken out regular to potty, She is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine.
Lily is very energetic so a family that does not work long hours would be perfect, crating for long hours would not work for this girl. At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she loves to be close to her human so she sleeps on our fosters daughters bed.
its so hard not to fall in love with this girl And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her apart from the fact she does sometimes displays an alpha side when challenged by another female and she does jump on you in excitement. she is great with children she has a 19 month old that plays with her all the time however Lily is strong so she does have to be watched that she dosent get too rough when excited . Lily is still very much a puppy so she will still need a firm hand and discipline her energy may also knock down small children so a family with older children would be most likely be better.
Lily is spayed, current on all vaccinations, Heart Worm Negative and she is micro.chipped. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. She is certainly a lap dog and enjoys cuddles and snuggles with her humans. We are looking to find Lily a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. We dont want to ever find this girl back in a shelter. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Lily will only get better with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Lily She dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end.
A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where she can run and play is ESSENTIAL. She would do well with another submissive male dog as a companion. or she would be fine as an only dog with lots of family interaction. It is wise to note that Lily is still a pup and may chew if bored and left alone for long hours. A little more training and Discipline will make Lily an awesome dog.
