Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bonded Pair: Ben - 9 year old maltese 7 lbs great with dogs/people/no kids potty trained
Best friends, Ben & Matty, are an incredibly adorable and sweet pair; with their bright eyes and button noses, you'll want to hold them and cuddle them. They are opposites in many ways; not only in regards to personality but also in build. We probably should have named them 'Abbott & Costello', 'Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy', or (for the younger crowd) 'Pumba & Timone'! With Ben's round little body and short legs, he reminds us of a little piglet (but don't tell him we said that!); Matty has a delicate, slim build with long limbs which makes one thing of a dancer. What a funny and unique pair they make! Ben is confident and outgoing and has never met a stranger; he enjoys long walks and, despite his rotund appearance, can trot along at a very quick pace. He likes exploring and social outings and lying in the sunshine. Matty, who likely came from a puppy mill, is shy and tentative with strangers and in new situations; he relies on Ben to show him that people and places are safe. But Matty is also the one who is the neediest in regards to affection and he bonds very closely with his special person; he likes to be held close and cuddled and babied. Both boys get along fabulously with other dogs; they assimilate quickly and are accepted readily by the canines they meet. Because of their small size and Matty's timidity, they will not be placed in a home with children under 12 years. They will do best in a quiet home and would be happiest if they weren't left alone without their people for long periods of time. Since they've not been well cared for in the past, they especially deserve a home in which they will know the special care, companionship and love which they previously lacked. Ben is potty trained; Matty is working hard on learning to 'take care of business' in appropriate places. Fee for both $250 - they will not be separated; they are neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
