My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tucker: 4 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 13 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
"I have been at my current home for about 2 months and before that I was adopted from a pet store. I lived with my family for about 3½ years then a difficult pregnancy and a busy toddler made them make the difficult decision to find a home that could give me more attention. The home I am at now, the mom will be babysitting full time in June and even though I love kids and have been around them most of my life, I am not sure what to do when there are different kids around, and not sure what do to with all of their activity.
I do like to voice my opinion, especially when company comes by barking. I shouldn't be in a home with chickens because I want to go play with them, but I play too rough. In my home, we have 2 yellow labs and we get along well. Sometimes I like to let the younger one think I'm in charge but then we'll play so we're good. I love my crate and am working on walking a leash without barking at the cars that go by. Those wheels look fun to play with.
One thing the mom here as taught me to is to do my business when she says "get Busy" and I must say I'm doing well with that. I am mostly house broken as long as you remember to ask me if I need to go out. With all the barking I do, you'd think I would ask to go out, but I don't. Sometimes I'll pace back and forth to let you know so watch me. If there is a male dog in the house I may want to mark. In the evenings, I'll pull out a blanket and want to snuggle and when I greet you, I'll use a big toothy grin that makes everyone laugh. My mom here doesn't have a fenced in yard so I need to be tied when I am out. They've learned that I love to play games if I get loose, but I'll come back when I'm ready and flash that toothy grin which I am known for."
Note: Tucker is located in Marietta, New York - and we can fly this boy.
