Matilda (11 weeks)'s Story...
Matilda is an 11 week old catahoula/lab mix who was rescued from the shelter along with her mom and siblings just a few weeks after she was born. She, like all of her siblings, is sweet and playful and well-adjusted. She should be fine in a family with other dogs and is very young and should adjust well to a family with kids. She is a puppy and will require plenty of discipline, exercise, and patience (and probably some potty training) but she will love you more than enough to make up for all of that. :) The adoption fee is $150 and each puppy comes spay/neutered, vaccinated, de-flead, and de-wormed.

If you feel you have the time and means to care for a new puppy and would like to meet Matilda or any of her siblings, please email her foster mom Trish at Tinfurchia@gmail.com. She will be handling the adoptions for this litter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matilda (11 weeks), a Groveland Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Groveland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Groveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
