Serina is a very pretty, and smaller (she's the size of a chubby older kitten) short-haired brown tabby 6 year old Spayed female. We rescued her from being put down as a kitten because she tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Many cats with FeLV can live long lives with a calm environment and good care. She is very sweet and enjoys being petted and played with. She can only be other cats who are FeLV positive. She gets along great with her FelV roommates, but we are worried about her because her closest friend at the shelter, Flower, who'd been with her the entire time she's been here, just passed away. She has spent her entire life since she was a kitten in her little room at the shelter, so please consider adopting her so she doesn't live out her entire life here (or worse pass away without ever having had a real home). She'd love to be adopted with one of her other FeLV roommates to help her adjust to the loss of Flower and the change of environment. She might be O.K. with a calm cat-friendly dog. She should not be around young, loud or really active children, She needs a calm home where she can avoid stress to keep her healthy. Come meet this sweet young lady.
