Pretty, Sweet DSH Grey/Silver Tabby FelV + Female

Flower is a very pretty silver/gray short-haired tabby 7 year old spayed female who is FeLV positive (Feline Leukemia Virus -only contagious to other cats). She is very sweet, friendly and loving. She was diagnosed with FeLV, but many cats with FeLV can live long lives with a calm environment and good care.  She needs to be with other FeLV positive cats.  She gets along great with her FelV roommates and is very bonded to Serina, a 6 yr old DSH brown/black tabby female who is also very cute and sweet.  We would like them to be adopted together since they are so close and it would help them adjust to a new home and stay happy and healthy.  She has spent the bulk of her life in her little room at the shelter, so please consider adopting her and Serena so they don't live out their entire lives here.   She can be around calm children.  She might be O.K. with a calm, cat-friendly dog.   She needs a safe, quiet, indoor only environment with as little stress as possible. Come meet this special sweet lady and her bonded 'sister' Serina.

About Angels With Paws

About Our Shelter...

We believe ALL animals have the right to life.
Angels with Paws 501c3 charity runs a mostly cage-free, Limited Intake Rescue Shelter that since opening in 2004 has provided over 9,500 homeless, unwanted, abused, neglected and abandoned cats, kittens (and some dogs through foster care) with rescue, Veterinary and other care, rehab and a place to live until they are adopted. Many of them are injured, ill, disabled, and older and would be turned away or put down by other shelters. For these animals Angels with Paws is their last hope. This is amazing work considering we operate out of a converted Fast Food building, have very limited resources, few volunteers, no promotion, and no on-site Veterinarian. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and offer advice in caring for pets with the hope that they can be kept in their own homes instead of being relinquished to a shelter, the need to Spay/Neuter and the cruelty of declawing.

Angels with Paws does not receive any Government, Corporate or any regular funding. We do not have an on-site Veterinarian, and have to pay for our Veterinary Care and Supplies. Nearly all of our funding comes from private donations.

Our dream is to see the day when no adoptable animal will be euthanized.
