Handsome Adult DSH Black and White Tuxedo (with one white pant leg) Male

Chung Wang is a handsome 5 yr old, short-haired Black and White Tuxedo (with one white pant leg) neutered male.  He likes to be called Chungy Bear.  He is shy and fearful of humans and it takes a little time and patience for him to trust you. He enjoys being petted once he trusts you and is not stressed out. He also enjoys playing. As a young kitten, he lived in the streets for a while and had to fend for himself. He has also apparently been traumatized by humans, so he needs some extra TLC. He gets along with and craves the companionship of docile other cats.  He gets along great with his other docile and shy roommate, Sunshine (another shy 6 yr old DSH male who is a red tabby) and they've been together at the shelter so long they have bonded so they need to be adopted together.   There is a discount for adopting more than one. We don't know about dogs, but he might be O.K. with a calm, cat-friendly dog with proper, slow, introduction techniques.  He should not be around children, except, calm, older, cat-friendly children that will be calm and gentle with him and give him the space he needs.  He will need patience and time to adjust to a new home, but he is coming around to trust humans again.  Come meet this handsome young man and his bonded friend, Sunshine to see if you have the heart, home and patience to help them blossom into the great companions that we know they are.

About Angels With Paws

About Our Shelter...

We believe ALL animals have the right to life.
Angels with Paws 501c3 charity runs a mostly cage-free, Limited Intake Rescue Shelter that since opening in 2004 has provided over 9,500 homeless, unwanted, abused, neglected and abandoned cats, kittens (and some dogs through foster care) with rescue, Veterinary and other care, rehab and a place to live until they are adopted. Many of them are injured, ill, disabled, and older and would be turned away or put down by other shelters. For these animals Angels with Paws is their last hope. This is amazing work considering we operate out of a converted Fast Food building, have very limited resources, few volunteers, no promotion, and no on-site Veterinarian. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and offer advice in caring for pets with the hope that they can be kept in their own homes instead of being relinquished to a shelter, the need to Spay/Neuter and the cruelty of declawing.

Angels with Paws does not receive any Government, Corporate or any regular funding. We do not have an on-site Veterinarian, and have to pay for our Veterinary Care and Supplies. Nearly all of our funding comes from private donations.

Our dream is to see the day when no adoptable animal will be euthanized.
