this stunning boy is LUKE a gorgeous yellow purebred Field Labrador. This boy is big Luke is 2 years old, and has the most wonderful temperament and big beautiful strong features. He is just gorgeous LUKE is blessed with stunning good looks, gorgeous white teeth, a lovely soft coat with beautiful soulful brown eyes that just melt your heart LUKE`S story )))) Its hard to believe that LUKE found himself in a South Carolina kill shelter I cannot think why he would be there. Luke was on the urgent list. The shelters were full and space was needed, so this gorgeous boy found himself fighting for his life. Lifeline pulled this adorable boy and transported him to Florida where he is now in foster care. We are pleased with the outcome of his evaluation, Luke is a happy boy and fits in well with the others. Luke is currently in foster with a Weimaraner , Pug and Lab he gets along well with them all. Luke has a lot of energy he loves to run, play fetch and adores tugging on his rope toy anything energetic and Luke is there a chance to run and play he gets excited. We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for him. A home that will give him stability and security he needs Luke has just blossomed in the time he has been with us he is certainly a favorite. Luke is so lovable a big strong baby, he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention he needs. Luke will warm to you and just melt your heart. he loves to be around humans and will follow you around, he loves to go for walks, but he does pull at first due to excitement and he will need someone strong to hold him Luke is a big boy. He knows commands sit, down and stay and he will give you his paw he is energetic, fun and playful. he loves car rides and he is excellent in the car. Luke is house and crate trained he will go to the door when he needs potty at the moment he is in a routine with his foster and is taken out regularly,he is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine. Luke is very energetic so a family that does not work long hours would be perfect crating for long hours would not work for this boy. He is big and needs freedom At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed he loves to be close to his humans. its so hard not to fall in love with this boy And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about him apart from the fact he will jump on you he does get excited when he sees you, and he is a big boy. Luke needs a strong leader to instil some discipline and work on his manners however he will become more clam if he has his daily exercise and can run off his energy. We say no cats because we have not tested him he will chase squirrels. Luke is still very much a puppy even though he looks big so he will still need a firm hand and discipline his energy may also knock down small children so a family with older children would be fine. He is clumsy in a small environment he definitely needs space. His head reaches to the kitchen counters so he can help himself if items are left out. Luke is neutered, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative and he is micro.chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking to find Luke a wonderful forever home where he can have stability and security in his life he is an awesome dog for the right family. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We dont want to ever find this boy back in a shelter. Luke is so lovable, and he is good with children and anyone that will play with him he will bark to play. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Luke will only get better with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Luke he dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end. A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where he can run and play is ESSENTIAL.He would do well with another dog as a companion, he would make a great playmate for a med /large dog. He is good with smaller dogs but he could hurt one if he fell on a small dog. Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Luke`s life complete again if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
