Johnny's Story...
This is a courtesy post. This dog is not in the 4 Paws program. Please contact the owner direct at the email below.

Meet Johnny. He is a super outgoing, friendly Chihuahua about 3 years old and 6 lbs. He is great with other dogs and children and is currently in a home with a 3 year old. I found him about 4 months ago and his owners never claimed him. I had planned on keeping him but unfortunately a recent illness has made it impossible for me to keep Johnny. He has been neutered and is very loving. He is very calm, hardly ever barks and loves to sleep in the bed. Johnny is indeed a lap dog and he is housebroken. As with most Chihuahua’s he has lots of personality. He needs a good stable home where someone will keep him forever. If this is you please contact Denise at austin4203@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Johnny, a Vacaville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
