My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maya is a 2 to 3 year old Chihuahua who weighs 6 to 7 pounds. She has beautiful brown and tan markings, and has the most expressive eyes. When you first meet her, she is very timid, but once you gain her trust, she is very devoted. She prefers Men over Women but will warm up to women over time. Food is a very good incentive for her. She is food aggressive so small children are not recommended for her. She prefers her “cave” (kennel) and spends a lot of time in there (with the door opened). She will require someone who can be very patient with her since trust is a big issue with her. She will let you know when a stranger is near and will bark.
