Ricci's Story...
Hi! My name is Ricci! I am a very sweet and energetic 4 year old female Lab mix. I am a happy go lucky girl and I get along well with everyone I meet. I would love to find an active home who could take me for long walks and runs, swimming, hiking, and camping. I am very smart and eager to please so training me is very easy! If you are looking for a fun and energetic gal to spend some time with, I am your girl! I am spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $150. You can let the rescue know you would like to meet me by filling out an application at http://www.softplacetoland.org/dog-adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricci, a Ft. Collins Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
