This poor guy was rescued off the streets of Camden, NJ by a group of homeless people and a special Animal Cruelty investigator for whom this Akita was named. We thank the heavens for the good people who fight daily for the animals that are left abandoned on our city streets.
McGuire is a young adult male Akita who comes to us in rough condition - emaciated, infested with fleas, his beautiful lush coat broken, filthy, and matted to his body due to living in the elements for months without shelter. The only reason this boy lived is because the people who also lived on the streets shared what little food they had with McGuire. This Akita is as gentle as a lamb, knows sit and paw, and is quiet and non destructive. He is a gorgeous boy that would love to have a family to love.
