My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a PERFECT DOG - loves men, women, children, dogs, and cats. Ernie was rescued from a local high kill shelter with his brother Bert.. He is approx 18 months of age and weighs 13lbs, he looks like a poodle/terrier mix. From his foster mom:
Ernie is soooo friendly!! He loves everyone - young and old. He sleeps on a soft doggy bed next to his foster parent's bed all night without a peep. His bedtime is around 8:30. We don't crate him long daily, maybe a few hours, and when he is uncrated and no one is home, he just chews his chewie bone or sleeps. He has several foster buddies, and he gets along with all. He is submissive to them and respectful. He seems to be fully house trained. He is a quick learner! and very food motivated, so easy to train. He waits patiently for his food or treat. He is told to "sit" until he is commanded to eat. He is a lap dog/cuddler and loves to be pet. He is good on the leash and in the car. He is a sweet quiet little guy and would make the perfect companion for a family. He gets along great with other dogs and even the cats.
