Chester's Story...
Declawed: No
Good with Cats: Yes
Good with Dogs: Unknown

Chester is a little more timid than his sister Zoe, but does not want to be left out of any fun. He usually follows her around at a distance after she ensures that everything is safe. He is very friendly to other cats and is seen either snuggling with his sister or foster brothers, only if you aren't available to lie on though. Chester's favorite toy is a tail. He loves playing with other cats' tails and if they won't let him resorts to playing with his own.

Not all animals attend every adoption event. Please contact us for more information on this cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Coppell Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
