My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rascal is a hilarious 6 year old dog and has made us laugh all the years we have him but sadly we can no longer keep this loving cute boy

He weighs about 40 pounds, is house-broken and loves to play fetch and tug of war.
Give him 2-3 tennis balls to play with at the same time and be ready to laugh!  He loves feet and often mouths at my slippers when I am on the computer not aggressively
He has been puppy obedience class, so he knows basic commands; sit, down, shake, leave it, etc.  He also knows the words: “walk, bye-bye, go for a ride & squirrel”.
When we grab his leash he is at the door, ready to go for a walk.  He pulls at first, but finally settles into a decent pace when we stroll around the neighborhood.  He LOVES to chase squirrels and will rise from a sound sleep if he hears the word ‘squirrel’ then run to the back door.

Rascal loves to sit in our bar-stool chairs by our front window and just look outside to see what is going on in the neighborhood.  He will get up on the bed but doesn't sleep there, he rather enjoys his own dog bed to lie on at night or when he is outside. (We will send it with him, wherever he goes.)

He is both an inside and outside dog. He stays outside while we are at work and is non-destructive we prefer someone home during the day so he can be inside with them.

Our daughter is 12 now and was 6 when we got him, we have had friends over with smaller children, so he has been around children of all ages.  He's never shown aggression towards any of us, our friends or children but we prefer adult home or one child over 10 years that is gentle and loves to throw the ball for him

Rascal loves to give kisses! so be prepared
The ideal home for Rascal would be someone who is home most of the time; though he is fine to be in the yard for 6-8 hours alone.  He needs to be in an only-dog family, no cats either
He loves the attention of only animal he has gotten along with some other dogs but defiantly not a dogpark dog nor socializing with other dogs so if that's ok and you are not one that must have a dog friendly dog have the time to have a real companion to play with and are dog experienced with a fenced yard and stable person over the age of 25 years please apply for this unique one of a kind looking boy
