Salsa's Story...
My name is Salsa and I am a 3 year old border collie/spaniel type cross. I am a nice medium size at around 20 inches tall and 40lbs. I am a very laid-back girl and the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I enjoy a nice stroll around the neighborhood and walk politely on leash without pulling. I am a low energy dog who enjoys love and attention over anything else. If you will scratch my ears, I will sit with you for hours.

I am very affectionate and love to be near my people. My foster mom takes me to work with her and I sit by her feet, under the desk, and am happy to lay there and just be with her all day. I am very quiet and do not bark much at all... or ever really. I am also completely house trained and have never had an accident in my foster home. I am good in a crate, though my foster mom does not crate me anymore because I am such a good girl in the house :)

I am just a sweet, friendly dog who is looking for a family to give me lots of love. I am very good with other dogs, and have also lived with cats and children and have always been a perfect lady. If you want unconditional love and constant puppy dog eyes, then please apply to meet me. I would love to be your perfect companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Salsa, a Saskatoon Border Collie/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Border Collie/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Border Collie/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
