Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whenever a sweet and adorable Foxhound or Beagle mix gets into an urgent situation, Farfel's rescuers like to help. We find that pups of this breed mix are so loving, smart & intuitive. They also fit so well into a family...and make great companions for all age groups. Sometimes the young pups are a bit shy....but put them in a home with a loving family and frequent socialization...and they will shine. Becca is about 8 months old (such a great age - young enough to be puppy endearing and old enough to be understanding her adult skills) and currently weighs about 30 lbs (we anticipate a full-grown weight of about 35 lbs). As a pup, Becca is a blank slate just waiting for a forever family to teach her the wonders of her world. If she is trained with positive reinforcement, given tons of love, socialization with both humans of all ages and other dogs...she will grow into a self-confident adult who will be a wonderful companion - She has all the elements working in her favor since she's starting out with a great temperament and a puppyish desire to please. We'd like to place Becca in a home with either active retirees or a younger family who loves spending lots of time with a fuzzy and devoted family member. Becca would also enjoy the company of a fun and respectful canine...she would love the playtime. Becca will shine for a family who is motivated to take her to group obedience classes and to bring out all the wonderful qualities and loyalty that are in this incredibly cute Foxhound/Beagle mix. Becca would love hiking the trails of Colorado, window-shopping on Pearl Street to fine-tune her urban skills and being a very present companion all through the day. She will also have to learn the skills of being alone for several hours and know that her family will always return....she'll learn this with love, consistency and kind boundaries present in her life. Becca has gorgeous markings on her shining coat. Great nutrition and periodic baths/brushing will promote a healthy sheen on this beautiful girl.
Becca will be arriving on transport in Denver on 5/16. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional and very loving companion.
