My name is Hewey and my brothers, Dewey and Lewey, are part of an unwanted (but not for long) litter. Now you know it’s hard to look at our photos and not be ready to take the plunge and adopt a wiggly-piggly bundle of joy, otherwise known as a puppy. Adopting me or my brothers is a huge commitment; for one thing you can’t leave a puppy alone all day. When was the last time you had to hold your bowels or bladder for eight to ten hours at a stretch? It won’t happen with a puppy. If you’ve got energy to burn, we might be just the right dogs for you. But. if you are always exhausted and content to take one leisurely walk a day, then you should think about adopting a mature dog. What’s more, my brothers and I need to be socialized to the big wide world so that we won’t be afraid of new situations, sounds, people and other animals. We want to be comfortable in the world. My new guardian needs to commit to basic training so that I can learn to walk nicely on leash and respond to your basic commands, like sit, down, stay, and come. If I am a good canine citizen, then having me as part of your family will be so much more fun. So, if you know what it takes to raise a puppy to become a good dog, I’m anxious to start my life with my furever family. Fill in the adoption form and ask for HEWEY.
