Hi, I am Claire a Cairn Terrier about 7 1/2 months old, making my birthday 8/19/13. My brother Sugar Babe and I were left in a pen without much attention at all until the last month when we went to our foster mom. We never had any love or attention given to us until our foster mom took us in. We didn't understand or know how to accept some TLC. We are true Cairn's at heart so please, please read about our breed before making a decision about adoption. I want my home to be loving, playful and have lots of outside activity with my new adoptive parents, most of all lots and lots of attention. I have come a long way this last month and I am trusting more and more on being held and sometimes even asking to be held. I love to play with toys and I am very alert and active little dog. I get along with most small dogs and cats. I am crate trained. I do not like bigger dogs and I tend to act like a 90 lb. dog towards them and I am only 12 lbs.
