My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The name “Beau” is French, meaning handsome, and it can also mean boyfriend, which it is so appropriate for this little guy. Just look at those beautiful, kind, brown eyes! Beau is an adorable, cream and liver colored, three year old Shih Tzu who weighs about thirteen pounds. He has a lot of love to give. Beau is a loving boy - he loves to be touched, cuddled, and talked to. He gets along great with kids, cats and dogs. He enjoys his daily walks and is a wonderful companion. His greatest joy is just being with his person, and Beau would do best with a family that has someone home most of the time.

Beau is in good health, neutered, micro chipped and up to date on all his vaccinations. Beau’s foster family would like to find a home for him within the Twin City area and would like his new family to attend our rescue reunion which is held each year on the third weekend in June. His adoption fee is $343.28, which includes tax.

Before contacting Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota regarding any dog, please thoroughly read the Adoption Information at http://www.shihtzurescuemn.org/adopt.html first to help you understand the process, requirements and timeline for adoption. To meet Beau and other dogs available for adoption from Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota, please visit with us from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Minnetonka Petco near Ridgedale the last Saturday of every month.
