My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pippen is a 3 yr old standard male. He is the sweetest chinchilla we have here. Once he gets comfortable in his new home, he loves attention and leaps into your arms when you open the cage. It's hard getting a good picture of him because he walks on your arms to your shoulder when you open the cage. He loves to be scratched under his chin and gives the cutest face when he is scratched and pet.

That said, he is very nervous when he comes into a new home. Until he gets comfortable, he can nip if he is afraid, so because of this we don't recommend him in a home with children. Once he gets comfortable with you though, he is absolutely the sweetest chinchilla I have ever met. He just needs the right home that is willing to let him get comfortable before handling him (it took him approx. 2 weeks to trust me). If you are interested in seeing how he acts when he is comfortable with the person handling him, please let me know and I will take video of him for you.

His adoption fee is $75 and includes a care binder, food, hay, hay cubes, treats, wood chews, dust, and a fleece hammock.
