My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miggy seems to be a chi/schipperke mix, 3 yrs old and weighs 12 lbs. He is shy around new people and afraid of being approached and picked up. He has no nasty guarding or jealousy issues and is very cuddly. Loves his squeaky toys. He gets along very well with other dogs, loves to play with dogs in the home and also is great with cats and women. We feel he would do best with another older mellow dog in the home. He has issues with men and is fearful of them. He is also fearful of strangers when leashed. He responds well to disciplinary commands like Down and No. He is very smart and can scratch through a screen to escape and must be crated or windows must be completely closed because he knows how to push them open. He is medium energy and not clingy. He walks well on the leash, is eager to please and does fine in his crate. We believe he would do best with a patient, caring owner who will take the time to get to know his quirks and work with him on some of his issues. He is very wiggly and happy, curious shy and affectionate and would make a great companion.
