My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey is an adorable, friendly and social 6 month old Chocolate Lab mix. Hershey was rescued from a high kill shelter in southern IL. Hershey is a typical Retriever, very friendly, active, playful and social. She will be a wonderful companion for an active family. She's just around 6 months old and weighs about 3O pounds, so we are expecting her to be around 5O pounds when fully grown. Hershey will be a wonderful addition to one lucky home! Hershey is new to our rescue, but a dog this lovely won't last long. Come meet her today! Hershey's adoption donation to the rescue is $35O. This donation helps to cover any medical expenses to prepare her for adoption. She is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an approved application has been received. Please email palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application.
• Hershey's adoption donation is $350. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Hershey from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!

• All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
