Daphne Dot's Story...
Daphne Dot is a 3 year old soon to be spayed female. Her family was moving out of the country and could no longer keep her. Daphne Dot recently finished nursing a litter of kittens and will need to wait another week or two before being spayed (this service is included in her adoption fee). She is very friendly and loves attention. It is unknown how Daphne Dot lost a part of her left ear but it does not seem to bother her any. In fact she feels it makes her unique and adds character! Daphne Dot is up to date on her vaccinations and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Please consider meeting her and give her a new lease on life with a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne Dot, a Fairfax Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
