My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dallas is our ten week old lab mix. Dallas weighs approximately 7-8 pounds and we think he will be a medium sized dog when grown! What a LOVE to everyone, other dogs and even cats, too! Dallas has so much FUN running around the foster family's home playing with the other puppies. They will do the chasing game for awhile, then curl up in the puppy area squeezing as many as possible on one puppy bed. Dallas is so eager to learn. Dallas is working on his potty training skills and is one quick learner. Dallas loves his foster home but is looking for his forever home, he is READY!!

If you are interested in giving Dallas a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly (901-651-6322) or Angela (901-361-0089) anytime with questions.

Dalla's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, heartguard, frontline, certificate of health and transport fee.

Dallas is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new home once he has been adopted. We use a professional pet transport service that makes weekly trips to the northeast and bi-monthly trips to the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
