Cottontail's Story...
Cottontail is a female Schnauzer and maybe Jack Russell mix. She was just 4 weeks old when her picture was taken. She was born 3/24/14. Cottontail had her first set of shots when she was 6 weeks old (5/6/14) and she weighed 2-3 lbs. She will receive her second set of shots 5/27/14 and then will be able to go to her forever home. Cottontail will be spayed when it is age appropriate and microchipped at that time. We will allow someone to adopt in advance so call us if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cottontail, a McCormick Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
