My story

Foster Mom up-date
Angela is a 1.5 year old petite black lab who is now doing great. She is housebroken and adjusting incredibly well to her foster family routine. She is desperate to please and works hard for reassurance.

This little girl is a sweetheart. If you can look past the scars and the grey hair on her nose, you’ll find a happy puppy searching for love. Because of her past, she is very submissive. We make sure not to raise our voices too loud as she may have flashback moments to her past. She is very happy to greet anyone who comes through the door and does settle quickly. Angela prefers to sleep either at your feet or on a doggy bed. Thanks to her foster sister, she is also learning to play – tug of war is her favourite along with a good game of fetch. It is worth noting that Angela is a very petite lab with the silkiest coat we have ever seen. Her foster sister, a chocolate lab, is almost twice her size.

Angela is good outside with the family, always staying close by. We are working on her leash training, but a halter is preferable for her as she finishes up her puppy stage of life.

This little girl would make any loving family very proud. She is the perfect companion who adores her car rides and visiting family.
