Roxie's Story...
Roxie is very much a people oriented girl, probably around 18 months old, about 75 pounds of wiggling muscle and clearly not suffering from an idenity problem...she has her beautiful long, European tail that's always wagging, a very pretty face and almost smiles when she walks or looks at you. She gets along well with other dogs both male and female and while isn't THE most dominant dog on the block, she does make it clearly understood that she prefers being the boss. Once those issues are resolved then she's quite happy to play with everybody. She loves stuffed toys, isn't fussy about eating and enjoys human companionship. Roxie really loves to cuddle up next to her human, she'll either stretch up on the very tips of her rear paws with her hands on your shoulders and just gaze at you with a look of adoration, or she'll quietly sit square in front of you and tilt her head back and rest her muzzle in the center of your chesst with nose pointed upward. This is her favorite position for plenty of pets and she almost holds her breath while you stroke her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Goldendale Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Goldendale, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Goldendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goldendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goldendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goldendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
