My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TaterBug is an adorable and playful, one-year-old, male orange tabby kitty looking for a loving guardian.

This sweet boy has had a tough life. He was mauled by some creature and was rescued from Chicago Animal Care & Control. A loving vet tech took him home as her foster after he had his leg amputated. She has been caring for TaterBug while he adjusted to living on three legs. She reports that is adjusting to his new way of life just great! He uses his hind legs to cold his beloved catnip toys in place. And, he purrs and purrs when he cuddles with you.

After his bad experience on the street, TaterBug loves people, but is un-trusting of other animals. Ideally, he is looking for a home where he will be the one and only pet. However, he may in time adjust to a home with one mellow cat.

TaterBug is now healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and virus-tested negative. To meet and adopt this special guy please contact his foster mom Katye at singsingkitty@yahoo.com or text / phone her at 815-603-1157. His adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued pets of the Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control.
