Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dawkins is listed as a Courtesy Posting; he is not part of Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. For more information about this beagle, contact Tara via e-mail: tarab.riddell@yahoo.com.
This is what was written about Dawkins: “Dawkins is a four year old, full bred beagle that is almost fully blind. He had chronic uveitis in both eyes for the last two years. The inflammation has caused scar tissue which covers both eyes. We have been assured that this is not painful for him. We spent thousands of dollars trying to save his eyes, but it just could not be done.”
“Dawkins is a sweet, lovable, loyal, and very social boy. In fact, he thinks that he is a giant lap dog. He weighs 48-50 lbs. and is up-to-date on all his shots. He is crate trained and used to other animals. Our reasons for wanting to place him in another home are heartbreaking… we have two little ones who are mobile and curious, and we are very wary of his reactions if caught off guard. He needs someone who can love him, help him, and teach him to adjust. He deserves better than what we can give him right now. We are located in Swedesboro, NJ, about an hour and a half from shore points and thirty minutes from Philadelphia and Delaware. We have tried every single alliance, shelter, foster and pet finder with no luck. We have been trying for about 8 months now to rehome him, and this is literally our last option.”
Please help this sweet boy find his new home! If you are interested in adopting Dawkins, please contact Tara via e-mail: tarab.riddell@yahoo.com. Thank you!!
