My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spike, the one-eyed wonder! Spike was dropped off by someone at an wonderful woman's property and she contacted us. We did intake and took him to our vet today for his shots and de-worming etc. He did great. He loves attention of any sort and didn't seem to care where he was, just that he got petted.

Spike may be a victim of animal cruelty. His jaw is no longer aligned perfectly and he is going to have an injured, infected eye. His eye came out of socket prior to being found and became infected (see picture). It will be removed next week. This is called inoculation and he is considered special needs because of his injuries. He needs to be neutered next week. Otherwise he is healthy and very eager for a human to pet him and a place to explore.

This little sweetheart is very outgoing, loving and affectionate. He loves to be petted and is playful as well. he purrs and kneads on you and head butts. He will probably be a snuggler but we don't know until placed into foster home. If you want a diamond in the ruff, he is the one for you! Check back for more details in his story.

Spike had his surgery yesterday, May 27, and did great. He charmed the whole vet staff with his adorable cuteness and personality. He is now ready to go to a new furever home!
