My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clara is an 8 yr old, small 10 lb, Bichon gal. She was surrendered to Happy Tails as her previous owner, that loved her very much, could no longer look after her. Clara is a happy little dog and loves to run and play with the other dogs and can be quite the tomboy. She is good with people and love affection or to be right beside you. Clara loves to go for walks but is a puller and needs some leash training as well as return as she can be a runner. Clara came from an adult home and would do better with adults but she is good with children. She is a sweet sweet girl that adapts very quickly.
Clara is prone to the formation of urine crystals which can lead to the formation of bladder stones. The vet found that there were many calcium oxylate crystals in her urine but they hadn't formed a stone at this time . It is crucial to keep her on the prescribed food to ward off the formation of stones. The adopter should be aware that there is a possibility that Clara may need bladder stone removal sometime in the future - but maybe not too.
Clara's adoption fee is $350. To obtain an application or more info on Clara, contact Judianne@happytailsrescue.ca
