Introducing Tai Shan, the adorably rotund senior cow cat with a heart of gold! Tai Shan may not be the most energetic feline in the shelter, but he’s certainly earned the title of “Cuddle King” among his fellow residents. You see, he’s not just a favorite among humans; every kitty in the shelter adores him. It’s as if Tai Shan exudes an irresistible charm that transcends species boundaries!
This somewhat shy, low-energy, laid-back feline is all about the fine art of lounging. If there’s one thing Tai Shan truly excels at, it’s perfecting the art of relaxation. He’s content with finding the comfiest spot in the room and settling in for a leisurely nap. All he really needs in life is a plush, cozy bed, a sunbeam to bask in, and perhaps a feline cuddle buddy or two to share his peaceful moments with.
Tai Shan’s journey began behind Mailee’s Thai restaurant in Scottsdale, where he and his three litter mates were rescued as kittens. While his fellow siblings found loving homes early on, Tai Shan remained in the shelter, patiently waiting for his forever family. Now, his plump and endearing presence is a testament to his resilience in holding out for his perfect human and the love he’s ready to offer.

There is an application and fee required for adoption of our kitties. We begin with a phone interview. If that goes well then an appointment is set up for the potential adopters to come and meet our kitties. If one is chosen a home inspection is scheduled. If that goes well the darling kitty is delivered and a follow up call will happen a week or so later.
