Sasha's Story...
Applications can be found on our website, www.starbrightanimalrescue.org or Please e mail starbrightdogs@mail.com for an application for Sasha. We reply to ALL e mail enquiries, please check your junk/spam inbox if you do not receive a reply. Sasha is around 1 yrs old, up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. I believe she is lab and possibly border collie mixed and weighs around 60 lbs. Sasha is good with other dogs once she warms up but she can play rough at times. She is a little standoffish at first but does warm up fast. She has the sweetest personality! In person she is not aggressive with other dogs but something about the fence she becomes territorial. Sasha really needs an active home where she can run and not be confined to a small yard or with someone who is an avid runner. If you feel you can give Sasha a good home then please get in touch.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Marshfield Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Marshfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Marshfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marshfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marshfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marshfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
