Lucy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a 2-year old, female Fox Terrier mix, who weighs in at 15.5 lbs. She had to have her back leg amputated, but she's doing very well without it. She is very sweet with people, obedient, and loving. She is crate trained. She gets along fine with other dogs and shows confidence to defend herself should they get a little too boisterous. She is very affectionate and loves to sit in your lap.

Lucy goes on walks and loves to play tug of war with the other small dogs at her foster's house. Housetrained as well.

Lucy needs some TLC to get her back to top form and to thrive. She would be fine with a second, SMALL dog. Because of her recent surgery, no small children under 6 years, please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Vista Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
