Felix's Story...
Hi, I'm Felix. I'm a typical one-year-old .. playful and FUN .. good at running and jumping. I'm past the curtain-climbing phase, but still an active kitty. I'm cute and cuddly too, and people are at the top of my list of Favorites! Another young playful cat would be nice in my forever home. A dog who ignores me is okay, and so are gentle well-behaved kids. I'm just looking for someone to love! ** ** Come see me at the Naperville PETCO (348 S. Rt. 59, near Arbys)! Call 630-815-4520 for more info.

** Adoption hours are 1-4:00 on weekends at all locations, or by appointment. To make an appointment or for more information, call PURRS at 630-815-4520 -- or email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com.

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
