My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Journey is a very sweet girl looking for a special home. Journey lived the last 1 1/2 years as a stray/feral dog on Lake Brownwood. She grew up not knowing the kindness of a human touch. She grew up with other stray dogs as her family. Due to this lack of human socialization she is unsure about how to interact with people the way a 'normal' dog would do. Instead she interacts with people the way she would with another dog. She uses her mouth and nips at you when she wants to play or wants your attention. If you scratch her back and then stop she will turn around and bark right at you to get you to start scratching her again.

With time Journey is learning how to interact with us and she is improving, however we believe there will always be a bit of a "feral" streak in her. She is definitely able to be a canine companion for a couple that has experience with large breed dogs and is willing to put the time into working with her.

Adoption fee is $300.00; this includes spay/neuter, HW test, all vaccinations, microchip and microchip registration.
