My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Appearance: Bella has a luxurious cottony soft coat of pristine white fur splashed with red tabby (really deep auburn) patches on her face (separated by the classic Van vertical white blaze) and back, and a red brush tail. She has an adorable pink nose, feathered ears, tufted paws and large oval, perfectly color coordinated medium amber eyes. She was born around 5/1/11.

Demeanor: Bella is the ultimate girly girl. Her body is long, lean, and well proportioned, movements graceful, feminine, sultry, meandering, agile, and effortless, and voice, very pretty and soft.

Personality traits: Bella is intelligent. She will be aloof and guarded at first but, once she feels safe, will be loving, demonstrative and solicit attention, follow around the home and become deeply bonded with her people. She does not, however, like to be restrained and tolerates being held only for brief periods. She seems fascinated by water and may be found laying down in a sink basin, trying to sneak a peak while you are showering, watching the water drain out of the tub or hanging out in the empty tub. Yet, she is not keen on being bathed. She has excellent litter box manners and will eat only dry kibble.

Ideal home: Bella is currently being fostered in a home with another cat and 2 large dogs. She appears to not have been socialized around other cats or dogs and while she seems to tolerate the dogs presence better than that of the other cat, she is not particularly accepting of either. In addition, Bella is easily intimidated and can be reactive when fearful. For these reasons, the ideal home would be with an experienced cat owner in an adult only home with no other pets.
