2014-05-18: Miss Maggie Bee is a wonderful chocolate (caramel) female lab that is 7 years young. She has a wonderful labby temperament and just loves being around people and playing fetch till her hearts content. She is most happy around people and will follow you around from room to room and lay at
your feet. Since she is already matured she is ready out of the box and comes house trained with no separation anxiety or any destructive behavior. She settles down very nicely in the house and is great with her older foster sister who can be grumpy. Maggie Bee is very respectful of other dogs food and space and would work great in a house where she is the only dog or with a brother or sister. She loves nothing more to be with her family so ideally she should not be with anyone who works longer than a 9-5 job.
Maggie Bee is exactly what labs are all about. She loves the water and will happily fetch any ball you throw into the pool, lake or ocean. She is very good about understanding which toys are hers and is great with kids. She has the patience of a saint and loves to roll on to her back with all fours up in the air for tummy rubs. She has the energy to go on long walks and to play in the park and can certainly use the exercise as she still has a small bit of weight to lose, but has slimmed down nicely on a lean diet and plenty of walks and play in her time with us.
Miss Maggie is ready for her forever home where all she wants is love and attention and will return it to you tenfold. She grunts and wiggles like she hasn’t seen you in years when you come home and will love you unconditionally. She is the total package without all the training you would require in a young pup.
