My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zach loves people, dogs and belly rubs! He is about 1.5 years old and weighs 65 pounds. Zach is neutered, potty trained, micro chipped and current on vaccinations.

Zach is crate trained. He knows the command, 'sit' and is working on 'down' and 'shake'. He is smart and eager to learn. He is an excellent walker on a Halti/Gentle Leader. He loves to go for walks!

Zach rides well in a car. He would do well in a home with another active friendly dog who likes to play. He needs an active family who will take time to be with him and continue his training.

He is a sweet guy who likes to be around his humans. He likes to play with toys, but he has a short attention span, so he needs interaction and daily exercise.

Zach came to our rescue when a neighbor saw him and his sister being left outside on a lead all of the time, even when the owner left for weeks at a time. The owner surrendered the dogs so we could find them a home where they could get great care. Zach is happy to be an indoor dog now.
