Daisy's Story...
Daisy and her babies were found in an abandoned car. This sweet mamma cat was taking care of her babies the best she could while not taking care of herself. She was so skinny when we got her, but her babies looked great!

Daisy loves being inside, loves being pet, LOVES to play, and is just appreciative of her indoor life. She greets us when we enter the room and head butts us for attention. We are so glad this mamma cat is off the street and has had her last litter!

When she opens me mouth to meow, nothing comes out :) She purrs and loves to play with dabird feather toy. She has the cutest little white tipped toes we have ever seen!

Her babies have been adopted and now this momma is patiently waiting for someone to love. Are you ready? Daisy is...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Ogallala Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ogallala, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ogallala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogallala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogallala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogallala paves the way for another one to be saved.
