My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COOKIE is looking for her forever home. She is a white with black, Border Collie/Spaniel mix, female (spayed), 3 years old, 40 pounds, UTD with vaccines, dog friendly, doesn't bother her foster mom's chickens, was not interested in the cats when taken by the cat room at Petsmart. She is house broken, sensitive to discipline, but easy to train, medium energy, loves to play and walks well on a lead. Cookie is an absolute sweetheart.

COOKIES STORY: Cookie was part of an owner death case where the next of kin was going to euthanize them (Cookie being one of five). The neighbor, upon hearing the intended plan, hid the five in her home. She sought help from local rescue groups. Although some said they would help, none ever did. After two months, Cookie had 9 puppies. The rescue neighbor was overwhelmed and could no longer care for them. Word finally made it to Bridges to Safety where a local foster was contacted. The puppies were transported to the local foster until they were ready to be transported to NJ. Now it is Cookies turn because she has been completely vetted.
