Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mara is a beautiful 3-4 year old, Siamese/Lynx mix, spayed female. She was found on the streets of Southwest Philly and was taken in by a shelter in NJ. Mara stayed there for 15 months with no success of adoption. She was kept in a cage all the time where she did not get the love and attention she so deserves. CatNIP found a foster home that could take her in and teach her how to trust people again and be loved and cared for until she finds her 'fur'ever home. Mara really needs to be a one and only cat. No small children or dogs. A home where she will be loved and cared for. A single owner would be 'purr'fect for her. She will need some time to adjust to her new home and person. She has learned how to love again. She likes to be cuddled around her neck and get kisses on her head. Mara does not show well at the store, but her foster mom lives nearby and has graciously offered potential adopters the chance to meet Mara in her foster home, the place she is most comfortable in. Please contact CatNIP for more information.
