Walter (Great lap cat!)'s Story...
Walter is an awesome cat! Walter got along great with the other cats in his foster home. He loves sitting in laps and being petted. Walter is laid-back and social. One of his favorite things is sitting in front of an open, screened window on a beautiful day - he loves it! Walter also loves the double-wide cardboard scratcher boxes with dried catnip sprinkled on top (see photos 3 & 4). Walter was in tough shape when he was taken in from outside, but now he is doing well and is very appreciative of the simple things - wet food, cardboard scratcher box, being pettted, sitting in a the window, etc. Walter would easily make a wonderful addition to almost any household. Walter is a loving, well-behaved, sweet boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walter (Great lap cat!), a Roseville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Roseville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Roseville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roseville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roseville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roseville paves the way for another one to be saved.
