Donegal's Story...

Donegal is a very affectionate, gentle and friendly kitty who loves to cuddle. Every night he follows his foster mum up to bed and snuggles up next to her, lying on his back to get his belly rubbed. He also enjoys riding on her shoulders and chasing his toys. His favourite game is leaping out from under chairs or the bed to pounce on feet (though he never uses his claws).

Donegal is a quiet boy and doesn't demand attention, but will follow you through the house and sit next to you wherever you are. He is not at all shy, but he is not comfortable with a lot of noise or activity. He would do best in a quiet home without young children. He would do very well as the only pet in a home, and although he is fine with dogs and other cats, his focus is definitely people.

Donegal would be a wonderful companion and would reward you with affection. He is truly a lovely kitty and would be a great addition to your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donegal, a Vancouver Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
