Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Lilly (formally Opal)
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 2 years
WEIGHT: About 7 pounds
DOGS/CATS: Great with other dogs, Unsure on cats
CHILDREN: Loves children
We would like to introduce you to Lilly (formally Opal). Lilly has been fabulous in her foster home. Her foster family calls her "the perfect dog" and we know that you are going to fall in love with her too.
Lilly has beautiful black coloring with tan and white highlights. She is a perfect 7 pounds. Lilly has a great personality. She loves the other dogs in her foster home. She enjoys hanging around them, playing with them, and cuddling with them. Lilly is a team player - she does not have to be the alpha dog to be happy! She is fine just making sure everyone gets along and has a great time. She also is fairly quiet (doesn't bark a lot).
Lilly enjoys the outdoors. She likes to go outside, explore the yard, then lay in the sun and enjoy the rays. Note that because of her dark coloring, her family will want to make sure she does not get over heated while in the sun.
Lilly has such a kind and loving personality. By far, the thing Lilly loves the most are her humans. This little girl is the absolute best companion dog. She is a total lap dog. If there is a lap available, she is up on your lap cuddling with you. She strives for your affection 24 / 7. And she will give you lots of kisses if you will let her.
Lilly is also really smart. She is about 90% potty trained. We say 90% because she hates going potty outside when it is raining (of course - who does like to go out in the rain - lol. We told you she was smart). We are beginning to work with her on pee pee pads for those rainy days! We have also noticed that Lilly is a little afraid during thunderstorms. This is not unusual in small dogs.
Lilly loves being in a pack with other dogs or her humans. She really enjoys cuddling in the bed with you at night and would really love to sleep with her human family if you will let her. Lilly would be great in a home with other dogs, or would be fine as an only dog (as long as her humans spend a lot of time with her). This girl is looking for a forever family to love and cuddle with. Could you make her dreams come true?
Lilly is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption fee required. (Note the medical bills for Misti were quite high, but CRT is holding a fund raiser to take care of them).
