Sis's Story...
Sweet Sis is a senior beagle who found herself in a rural animal shelter when her owner died. She and her "sister" Kate the lab were adopted and returned, so poor little Sis has been bounced around quite a bit. Sis weighs about 15 pounds and is good with dogs and cats, although she can guard her spot on the bed from other small females. She is timid and shy but loving. She is beginning to go blind. This sweet girl just wants to be in a home; she follows her foster mom everywhere. Because of her fearfulness, she needs a quiet home. Sis is in foster about 1 hr away from the shelter, so please call in advance if you'd like to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sis, a Transfer Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Transfer, or seeking a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Transfer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Transfer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Transfer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Transfer paves the way for another one to be saved.
