Hi! My name is Delilah and I am a 2 yr old, 25 lbs Border Collie. My owner surrendered me because of "no time," and now I am looking for a forever home. I am gentle, sweet and get along with cats, K9s and company.
I am happiest with my humans, I am quiet and easy to be with. Some say I am a very mellow young lady.
My pictures show my new summer cut. My hair was shaved all off because of the extreme heat wave we were having but it will grow back to a 2-3 inch fluffy coat by the time cooler seasons come.
I have one really good eye that I use to see the beauty in things. The vet says my other eye is completely gone, that it is an old injury and completely healed, no need for surgery or closure. Perhaps I was used as a bait dog in fighting? Despite the physical scar that I may have, I hold no grudge against humans, my heart is full and I am grateful to be given a second chance at a wonderful life.
