Hello, my name is June and I am a great girl. June is a precious girl, full of love and excitement. She loves her human and tries very hard to please and understand what is expected of her. She is just beginning to understand commands. She will do very well in a family with children who will take time to play with her and make her feel like part of the family. She would also be great with a senior adopter. She just wants to be with people. She likes other dogs and will engage them to play with her. She likes to play with squeaky toys. She will play ball with you. Her tail will wag to hard that her back end will wag with it. Once you meet her, she will melt your heart. If June sounds like the dog for you, fill out an adoption application today.

If you would like to adopt June, please contact Michele at doubledogmjordan@gmail.com

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
