True's Story...
My name is True and I'm looking for my "True" forever home. I have so much love to give! I LOVE to play ball. I will fetch the ball, bring it back to you, and set it at your feet. If you don't throw it, I will pick it up and set it in your lap to make sure you see it. As much as I love to fetch, I also like to snuggle with my foster mom and have her pet me. I have been through training and really enjoy it because I look to my human for guidance and confidence. I get nervous around some dogs. I would prefer my forever sibling to be a calm, friendly female. It's funny...I like to have another dog around when my humans go to work but other than that I could really do without them. My foster mom tells me that I am making it hard to find my perfect home because I'm so picky but that's okay. I have been through a lot and feel that the best things come to dogs that wait. Deep down she knows how special I am and knows that someone out there will see it, too. If you would like to know more about me, please complete an online application or come see me at one of our events.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

True, a Toledo Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
